SCOPE’s Approach to the Kitakyushu Hibikinada Offshore Wind Farm

SCOPE has successfully completed the Marine Warranty Survey (MWS) services for the Kitakyushu Hibikinada Offshore Wind Farm.

The Kitakyushu Hibikinada Offshore Wind Farm, developed by Hibiki Wind Energy Co., Ltd., commenced commercial operation on March 2, 2026.
SCOPE was contracted to perform MWS services for this project and has completed its scope of work successfully.
The wind farm comprises 25 large-scale wind turbines, each with a capacity of 9.6 MW, with a total installed capacity of 220 MW. At the time of commencement of commercial operation, it is the largest offshore wind farm in Japan.
