Research on Quality Control and Environmental Control

Businesses are rapidly considering the obtainment of ISO authorization, as well as bringing up measures for quality control and reducing the impact on the environment.
In order to evaluate the adaptability of these systems in the construction field, we are conducting a wide range of study in overseas as well as study and research on the procedures for model constructions and the basic concept of an eco-airport.

Study and Research on Cost Reduction

The future decrease in investments that will be caused by the present severe financial situations and the aging society and the change in public opinion will demand further cost reduction in public works. Proposals have also been made by the Central Council of Construction Business.
Considering this situation, we are conducting studies and researches on cost reduction and quality control, as well as improving the project implementation system.

Currently, it is demanded to provide the high-quality public works at low cost (socalled Value for Money). However, it may be inevitable that seeking for high quality tends to cause inducing high cost and long construction period. Therefore, it is vital to well manage quality, cost and time, which are trade off each other.
SCOPE conducts research and study to properly manage cost, time and risk in the construction activity so as to efficiently and effectively implement the construction project with limited resources.

With the improvements in the level of construction technologies of ports and airports, there is an increasing demand for the use of new construction methods and ones that have not yet been tried. Thus, study and research are being conducted on harbor roads and railway construction using of the immersed tunneling methods and bridges, and offshore airports.
